What is it?

Well you know how it is, you have your well kept MP3 collection all with your specific naming method, and then you get a load of new files (ripped from your own CD collection!) and they are all in their format so you have to spend ages renaming each file so it fits in with your collection nicely.!

Well if so then THIS is the program for you!!! As that is exactly what it does for you!!

How does it work?

It reads the ID3 tag from the MP3 file and using the format you have specified in the configuration it will process all the MP3s you have selected and set their names accordingly.!

What happened to jID3Namer

The problem was it was written in Java, hence it was slow and people had to download the java runtime. This lead to many emails of how to get java running. Initially I thought this would pass as java would increase in popularity and everything would sort itself out. But this wasn't the case so I've decided to scrap the java version and start work on a new windows only version. If you wish to have the original java version email us and it will be sent to you, as currently it features everything the windows version does. But it won't for long.
